Grumpy

I've been a bit grumpy lately, for no particular reason, and I think it's effected my scrapping. But then yesterday I got a lovely RAK in the mail from Kate and I decided not to be grumpy any more! That and the fact one of my colleagues sent me an email addressed to 'dear grumpy' - too funny! I'm hoping my change in attitude will help my scrapping because it's sure to make my family and the worker bees happier :)

Here are a couple of recent LOs. Both are based on Scrapability Sketches.

I had a lot of fun with this one I used both shimmerz and paint - I was covered in yellow from my ankles to my armpits - how can that happen?? Looking at this LO now I seem to have dumped a lot of product on it -hmm! I love the Jenni Bowlin crepe paper ribbon - anyone else used it? Not sure it turned out quite as funky as I was hoping for though. Maybe a little less product placed strategically would have been a better approach lol.

This one was to punish Rob for being naughty when I wanted to take his photo on Australia Day. He just laughed though! There are no photos of me from that day because he only took one and it was horrible so I deleted it - I love being in charge of the camera (insert evil laugh here!!).

You can't really see it in the pic but the red doodled circles are filled with DM - I wanted to add some texture without crowding the page - I was pretty pleased with the result. I made myself doodle on this LO because I thought it might help me get over my ridiculous fear of doodling - baby steps people! A big thanks to Lana for sending me this gorgeous paper - who'd know it's a Christmas range?! Oh and what do you think about the lace trim? Is it way too girly for the naughty man-child? I liked the contrast but now? Not so sure...

Right the working week is over so I'm taking my new and improved attitude off to play with some product :) TFSB!
