A good cause

The other day my sister sent me a link to her friend's blog - nothing unusual there except that her friend is the father of the little girl who died in the Samoan Tsunami last year. Little Clea (pronounced Clay-ah) was just seven years old. In celebration of her short life her family have arranged for a library to built in the Samoan village of Lalomanu. They've raised the money to build the library and are now taking donations of books. If you're interested you can check out the blog here

It's been raining cats and dogs here - great weather to be scrapping but not so hot to be taking pics of LOs. The sun came out briefly today before the skies opened up again. Here's what I've been up to.

This funky little ant lives on a neighbour's letterbox. He disappeared briefly and we thought he'd stolen and that made us really sad but, then he reappeared with new concrete boots (ok it was actually some type of supersonic glue). Next thing we knew he was sporting a Santa hat (the blurry pic is courtesy of Angus). Then for new year he had fabulous gold party hat.

This next one is a celebration of the lovely raks I received from some Wicked Princesses - thanks girls - happy mail is the best! The cs base is actually green not grey...

And this last one I discovered half finished but completely forgotten so I finished it off :) The pics and the papers were from the Girls Night In I attended last year.
TFSB :)

Small world - little Clea was the daughter of a lady at my work (on an overseas posting).
Your LOs look fab - I especially like 'ANTICS'. Great colour combo.

I really like your layouts featuring pictures from your every day life, the are really inspiring. A lot of scrappers make pages of their cute kids only, and it's great to someone who dare to be different. TFS!
