Living in blogland

The world of blogging is an interesting place. I started my blog quietly and many members of my extended family are still blissfully unaware of its existence. I've never linked it to my facebook page or even talked about it generally. Sure people visit – and leave wonderful blog love and my MIL is a regular and popular visitor, but I just never felt the need to ‘put it out there’.

I should have been more attuned to the butterfly effect of the worldwide web. My secret is out, one of my colleagues, whilst searching for a photograph of himself stumbled across my blog. This led to a conversation, overheard by others and suddenly news of blog was out.

I have always had great plans of writing witty or insightful commentary but usually I just end up posting my creations. On the weekend I suggested a friend start a blog instead of posting her every conscious thought as a status update on fb. To my surprise she started blogging the very next day! And, damn it, it her first post was indeed both thought-provoking and relevant. Serves me right really...

So, Andrew, I hope you've enjoyed this brief glimpse through the window into my life. Make sure you leave a comment :)

That is very funny Ali. Only 3 people (hubby, mother and Mel) know of my blog. It is my 'double life'. Others dont understand our Scrappy World so I figure, why tell them about it. I love sharing it with gals like you instead.
Happy blogging.

LOL Ali! Yep, the world of cyberspace is an amzing thing. I always kept my FB world separate to that of my blog (and my creations), but the lines started to become so blurred, that now my blog friends have all started crossing over to my FB page too...LOL (So look me up!) XXX

It is 'secret scrappers business'!!
